The Times has a preview of the Editor’s 50 top films for 2008, and, to be truthful, not many of them are geared at women – even if, like me, they really like SciFi but I’ve chosen my own selection for a Top 10.
- Dark Knight – the latest Batman.
- The Time Traveller’s Wife - Have you read the book ? Its been a bestseller. This is called “SciFi for Women, which means its romantic Science fiction)
- Mamma Mia – This will be cheesy, but starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Abba’s songs must be a winner.
- 27 Dresses. – Starring Katherine Heigl from Grey’s Anatomy as a perennial bridesmaid.
- The Love Guru – should be vintage Mike Myers.
- Body of Lies -its Russell Crowe, never mind the plot, but should be a good drama
- Star Trek – this is a must see
- Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince – I’m addicted to the books
- Iron Man – a new SciFi – looks amazing computer generated visuals
- X Files 2 – or perhaps the new Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I can’t decide even if it is cheating.
What about you – what is your top 10 ?
